Help shape the design of two new parks coming to the Nashville-Kleinburg community!

Kleinburg is growing and the City of Vaughan is building two parks to serve the new Nashville-Kleinburg community – Algoma Park (42 Algoma Dr.) and Nashville Park (639 Barons St.).

What amenities would you like to see included in these two new parks? The design of all City parks typically follow the standards outlined in the City’s Active Together Master Plan, so some aspects of each are set. For example, both parks will include pathways, a playground and a shade structure. But you can still have a say on how the playground and shade structure are designed. There is also space in each park, or within the community, for additional amenities like tennis courts or a basketball court, outdoor fitness equipment, games tables and more.

Engagement on Algoma Park and Nashville Park is now closed.

The City held an in-person open house on Wednesday, June 21 to present proposed park amenities and collect feedback from the community. Following the open house, from Thursday, June 22 to Wednesday, July 12, the City invited residents to complete a survey to review, rank and comment on proposed park amenities.

Thank you to those who participated! By joining the conversation, you've contributed to the design two new vibrant parks to be enjoyed by the Nashville-Kleinburg community for years to come.
