Martin Grove Corridor Review
Contribute to road safety in the Martin Grove Road area!
The City of Vaughan has launched a new traffic study in the Martin Grove area – south of Highway 27 and north of Highway 7. This area was selected based on our continued commitment to the community to monitor congestion, traffic circulation, truck traffic movements and restrictions, operating speeds, pedestrian and cycling safety and on-street curbside activity. It was also selected considering the high population of older adults and vulnerable road users.
By assessing traffic operations in the area, the City can find continued opportunities to address road safety and the overall transportation experience for all users – including those who walk, cycle, take transit or drive on or around Martin Grove Road. In addition to examining vehicle speeds, traffic volumes, site conditions, and existing traffic control and calming measures, City staff will work with the community to collect feedback on existing conditions and proposed recommendations.
Once complete, this study will enable City staff to develop short- and long-term plans to continue to implement best practices along Martin Grove Road.
If you live, work or play in the Martin Grove Road area, you’re encouraged to participate!

Engagement on this project is currently closed.
The City held the first phase of community engagement throughout March. Two virtual Public Information Sessions were held on Thursday, March 21 to share information and answer questions with community members. An online survey and interactive map were also available from Friday, March 1 to Sunday, March 31 to collect feedback relating to traffic, transportation and safety along the corridor.
Thank you to those who participated! The ideas and feedback collected will be used to inform the next phase of the study, identifying recommendations for enhancing the traffic experience for all road users.
