Forum Research Telephone Survey
Starting Monday, Oct. 2, Forum Research will conduct 500 random telephone surveys among Vaughan residents on behalf of the City. If you are randomly selected, you’re encouraged to participate in this important questionnaire, as public input is a key driver for municipal decision-making.
Online Survey
An online survey will be available until Tuesday, Dec. 12. It should take approximately 10 to 20 minutes to complete and we welcome your comments on a number of key topics and issues.
Live Discussions
Join a live discussion on any of the following topics:
- Should the City transition from bins (manual collection) to carts (automated collection)?
- Should the City adopt a clear bag program?
- Should the City expand its Medical Waste Exemption program?
- Should textile donation bins be expanded to City facilities (e.g. community centres)?
- Should the City expand municipal waste collection to residents who don't currently receive it?

This focus groups will provide a unique opportunity to discuss and explore the finer details of key topics, including:
- satisfaction with current waste services and programs

- expansion of the City's medical waste exemption program
- whether the City should invest in specialized collection equipment to service residents who currently do not qualify for municipal waste collection
